Inspection Q & A

We’d like to take some time to answer the most common questions regarding our home inspection services in Long Island, NY.

What’s the average cost of home inspection on Long Island?

This is a difficult question to answer without knowing specifics. That said, our prices typically range from $395-$595 depending on the size of the home or building. If you are just in need of a termite inspection the cost would be less.

Is it recommended that “we” the client are present during the inspection?

Yes. We will do a full walk-through of the entire house with you, and during our visual inspection process, we will mention everything that we see to you. We also encourage you to write down any questions that you might have so that we can answer all of them.

What’s the difference between an engineer inspection vs. home inspection?

In short, cost. You will pay up to 3x as much for an engineer to come in and inspect your home.

When will our inspection report be provided?

Our turnaround time is typically 24 hours. We are also proud to be able to say with confidence that our reports have been said to be among the best in our industry. We take our time on each one, and they are detailed and descriptive with pictures and in-depth & accurate information. We make sure you have everything you need.

What’s the first step to scheduling an inspection?

The first step would be to call in and get a free consultation as well as let us know the location of the home you’re looking to get inspected as well as how many bedrooms and bathrooms, we will give you a custom quote. Then, provided everything is fine from there, we will setup a time to meet for the inspection. Our scheduling is fast & easy.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. We do offer free quotes.

What are your qualifications:

We are licensed by the state of New York as well as certified by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).

We hope that we’ve been able to answer some of your questions within this FAQ section however as I’m sure you can imagine it’s hard to cover everything in one short piece of content.
